Day 2

If you read my last post then you know I am on a streak right now of posting for 21 days the 3 things that I am thankful for each day.  So here goes day 2!

1. Choices.  I realized today that I have so many choices in life and don’t realize how awesome that is sometimes.  I choose what I eat, what I do with my time, and with my life.  I chose today to eat healthy, be nice to people, and not let a bad mood get me down.  I also came to some conclusions about some major things I would like to do with my career.  It made me realize that I have the choice to make these things happen… I am thankful for that.

2. Peanut butter.  No seriously!  I LOVE peanut butter.  It’s one of my favorite foods – if not my favorite.  I know it may sound silly but I am thankful that I can eat it.  I have some allergies that I control with my diet and some medications but luckily I am not allergic to peanuts.  (It really is the small things!)

3. Birthdays.  August is a BIG birthday month for my family (and anniversary month as well).  I love picking up gifts and cards for my family and picturing them opening it.  I love hearing when they enjoy the gifts.  This month is particularly special this year because I get to see my family and celebrate with them during this time.  Birthdays are a great way to bring people together!
