No gym? No equipment? No problem!

A lot of times we make the idea of exercise more complicated than it should be. We think we have to have a gym or certain equipment or a specific video or a trainer right in front of us. But that’s not always true. Just going out for a walk is exercise that is good for you, will provide health benefits, and increase weight loss. Something as simple as walking!
One of the best ways to exercise when you have nothing else but your body is to use your body. I love body weight exercises. They’re fun, require no equipment, and you can do them anywhere. You can do them when you’re traveling and in a hotel room, while watching TV in your living room, on vacation, or even in your office at work (maybe close the door or go to a conference room though 🙂 ).
Working out doesn’t have to be complicated. So, to give you a reason to cut down on your excuses, I have decided to share an article that was sent to me on different exercises you can do. You can find it HERE.
I really like this article a lot and am even thinking of printing it out to put in my laptop bag for work. That way when I just don’t feel like coming up with a training plan at the moment I can pick a few of these and do them while I’m away.
You can even keep this in your living room by your TV… do a few of these during commercial breaks of whatever shows you are watching! Or make it a complete workout by spending a minute doing each exercise then moving on to the next. Either way, this article gives you a great way to work out without any equipment.
My personal favorites are: burpees (I know, I’m crazy), jump squats, mountain climbers, and tuck jumps.
I plan on doing this workout as part of my marathon training to keep me in top shape. Try it out and let me know what you think!
I want to encourage you to follow along in my health journey through what I learn and experience. I hope there is something you can take away from Fit Busy Female that inspires you to start taking control of your health and feeling better every day.
