Where to find your next RACE!!

It’s no secret I LOVE running races. The whole experience is great to me. I have run numerous races and I have to say one of the hardest things about planning my races each year is actually finding them.

When I was living in Chicago, I would get some serious winter blues so I would start planning my races in January for the summer and fall. I would have to search around online to find different ones. To be honest, it took quite a lot of time to do this. There were the “big” races that I would hear about and some that I stuck to running every year but I really like to change it up from time to time and try a different course, especially in a different city.

I was really excited when I was contacted recently about a new website that lists a ton of running events. It actually also lists cycling and triathlon events too! (I am tempted to try a triathlon but not sure I have the guts to do it yet. I am a terrible swimmer.)

Another amazing thing about this site is that it even lists trails and local running groups! Now I can hopefully meet some more runners in the area too. I love a one-stop-shop like this.

The website is HERE. I love that you can search by city and even filter out what distance you want to do. This is also great for someone like me who moved to a new city and isn’t familiar with the races they typically have. I have already found a few in Nashville that I will be doing!

Doing a race (that isn’t a marathon) is great for marathon training so this will really help me find ones that fit into my schedule and training plan for the Chicago Marathon. And hopefully I find a running group that is doing the Chicago Marathon too.

Go check out the site and let me know what you think!

Let me know what race or running group YOU sign up for!

I want to encourage you to follow along in my health journey through what I learn and experience. I hope there is something you can take away from Fit Busy Female that inspires you to start taking control of your health and feeling better every day.
